You can get a turbo revs smic for £100

Its designed for the 1.8T so doesnt have those nasty intercooler clips

With a bit of fettling you could get that to fit / save some cash / and do away with those crappy clips

Might have to have a look into it. I just think a fmic is overkill unless your looking to run big power, I would rather save the cash if possible and getting rid of those clips is always a good thing.

I think it would be pretty easy to fit

You can get the lower and upper intercooler hoses in silicone so just ditch the adaptor and connect the silicone straight onto the turbo revs cooler
