CCZA Inlet manifold and water pump removal

Featured Replies

This vehicle has a leaking water pump and I am trying to get at it!

Its located under the inlet manifold and to the right as you look into the engine bay.

It appears that removing the inlet manifold will help to access the water pump assembly.

I have removed all the inlet mounting bolts, pipes, electrical blocks and the support arm to block.

The manifold is loose but the injector rail is preventing removal. I have disconnected the fuel supply pipe.

Before I go and break anything thru` excessive levering is there any thing I am missing?

I assume the only thing preventing the injector rail to come out are the rubber seals on the injectors?

Seems to be very little info on this engine.

Cheers,

Tony
