Towbar and wiring

Featured Replies

Just got my PCT towbar ready for fitment in the new year. Got it for 76 quid which I thought was a good price and it appears to be very well made.

My main question is the wiring on my 2007 tdi. Do I need a "bypass" relay? I am told the car may need one but as I have little experience with the Skoda  any tips and /or advice would be welcome.

I am aware Witter do a "plug and play" kit but do you need it?

Thanks

Mark

I used a mobile fitter, and he just scotch locked all the wiring apart from taking a feed from a terminal box under the dash for the fridge feed. this was on 1.9tdi 2 2008.

So no bypass used.
