Car is booked in at skoda 27th march to have the coilpacks replaced FOC. They are only charging me £10 for a courtesy car. Result really considering the car is 10yrs old and has near 100,000 on the clock.

Going to do something with the rear Octavia and VRS badge but dont know what yet. Revo badge has gone though.

Might dedadge the octavia one, vinyl wrap the VRS one to black, then relocate it to the bottom right of the boot lid.

Had the car booked in with Skoda Simpsons Preston today.

All coilpacks changed FOC ( Would of been £123.11 inc VAT excl Labour).

The only charge was £10 for a courtesy car.

Also FOC valet inside and out. Great service tbh considering it was 10yrs old. Maybe its in my head but car feels smoother aswell. Maybe a coilpack was on its way out?

They gave me an advisory notice with potential work its needs;

Oil top up missing £15.99.

No idea what that was!!

Air Con due NOW £69.99.

Will get it done at quik fit for 49 all in before summer!

Discs rear heavily corded. £243.70

NSF brake disc back plate missing and brake pad warning wire taped up £9.81.

Both CV boots leaking grease due to clips missing £85.93.

Service Book missing.

Brake fluid history missing.

Cambelt urgently requiring change.

Wheel alignment needed.

TBH the cambelt was done 600 miles ago at a local audi garage and it had hunter wheel alignment at the same time!!

Anyway, whole affair cost me £10 today.

Fixed the boot leak. It was leaking just under the passenger side light. There is a small run off which drops water from the rear bumper. It was sneaking in and the carpet was absorbing it all!!

Some waterproof silicone I found in my dads garage!!

Job done. See if it holds next time it rains. The carpet is being aired and the wooden floor in the conservatory to dry!
