Suspension Kit for Skoda Octavia MK2 (2009-2013)

Featured Replies

hi,

I recently bought a Used Skoda Octavia MK2 1.8 TSi (2009) also known as the Skoda Laura in India. I noticed that the suspensions are not good and make a squeaky sound on bumpy roads.

So I am looking for suggestions; I want to replace the entire suspension kit (every component - lower arms, springs, studs, bushes etc etc). I am new to the mechanics of Skoda cars and need expert opinion here.

Attached is the car pic for people wondering what car are we talking about.

Thank you,

Amit

Not in India, I'd have said a bilstein B12 kit, but it'll kill you on the indian roads.

Even your motorway in Gujerate is going to be irritating on the B12.

Suggest you try lubricating the bushes on the suspension first and if you really want to change the bushes, look at super-pro.

The problem is most kits are not designed for the sort of roads you're going to be driving on.
