Scuttle tray drains :-) very common.. worth clearing annualy...

Hmm im finding the passenger footwell is getting damp also, will check for this! Thanks.

I have had this issue, I cleared out the front arches, got loads of rubbish out, unfortunately I still have the issue, what else could it be, do I need to clean out the rear arches or does it not drain there?

Thanks

Did you actually unblock the scuttle panel drain holes. Under the plastic panel(where wipers fit) there is a channel that runs both side and allows water to drop down past inner wing. If that gets clogged up it cane allow water to build up and drip through where pollen filter is and the fuse box on drivers side.

Failing that check

- Door inner panel plastic membrain(these can be damaged from speaker installs) and if broken allow water that runs down into cabin

- Door rubbers( weak door rubbers will not seal over the metal door frame/lip)

also might get in through the bonnet release cable grommet thingy that goes through the engine bulk head...

heard tales of water getting through that too

I did under the plastic panel, got loads of stuff out there as well, it's mainly the rear drivers footwell, but not getting more in the drivers footwell, nightmare, I will have to try all the seals and door membrane, thanks guys

Can someone just confirm to me how you get the scuttle trays off?

Mine seem well and truly stuck to the window, is it just a case of pulling them down with force?

Also they seem wedged in with the back corners of the bonnet.

Any help would be great so I can figure out the source of the duck pond in the passenger footwell!

Not down, towards you if youre leant over the wiper areas.  Basically pull at 90 degrees to the windscreen towards the front of the car and theyll peel off.

Thanks, I'll give them a try in the morning!
