Just where does the hose for the glovebox cooling connect to?

 

In the nearly 4 years I've had my car, I've never been able to figure out where on earth it connects to.

 

Yesterday I thought I'd put it back together properly, but ever laying upside down with a torch I just could not see anything for it to connect to. :(

There is normally a plastic hose stub which is part of the "switch" control which is normally mounted at the back of the box.

It literally connects straight onto the back of the of the dial. Have you removed the glovebox? If you do, you'll be able to see exactly where it goes.

It's still connected to the dial on the glove box, it's the other end I can't figure out.

It would certainly explain why I couldn't see where it's supposed to connect to.
