what you said, but leaving out the nitrous (engine breaker?!) could be a good comprimise for reliability :)

sounds very sensible though, I have to talk to my mate who is Mr VAG to see what we can get and for how much.

Nitrous might be too aggressive maybe gas, I think Jason runs gas

  • Skud VRS and my Golf, a little cat and mouse fun,,  Octy was packing more power, 250bhp I think but the Golf was stripped out so a bit lighter and has AWD, helps in the corners

  • I think so, after replacing the front bush again, changing top mounts, replacing subframe and getting the wheel alignment done 3 times it seems to be "ok" at the moment. Sadly the camber is not as mu

maybe try a bit of Calor Propane that will burn too

well,my vacuum pipe seems intact, so have to assume my N75 block is breaking down.

that should be an easy fix Jason assuming it is that

Awesome day again some dramas for me 3 boost pipes blowing off.

First 2 I was able to coast off circuit and open a gate to let me out.

The 3rd was the pancake pipe red flag towed off. Ruined my splitter in the process.

Still managed over 100 miles on track. 18.2mpg for the day.

Last video from me as I am bored with waiting for youtube to upload everything

This is me chasing Jason, first run out after sound check, my car is much slower than the Mongrel but as it was damp on track my AWD car really was on the pace as you can see.

Later in the day I got mullered by Jason when things had dried up you can see on one of my previous videos above, from a rear facing camera POV.

Ok sorry for the delay in sorting my vids out.

Was too knackered when I got home Friday night to look at them.

Yesterday I was out all day sorting out a new runabout as the vRS is broke again.

Anyway first vid, this is all the footage linked together from my phone.

Gopro vids are being processed and due to size of them, will take a while to upload.

Cossie1 what mount did you use for your iphone? I have a suction mount and was ready to use with harrys laptimer but javlin said no suction mounts :(

MSV allow suction mounts as long as they are also tethered.

2 gopro J hooks joined together with a nut and bolt and the ends pushed together.

2 flat pads, 1 on the windscreen and the other on the back of a candyshell (hard cover) iPhone cover.

Mounted at the top of the screen so that the phone is held tight against the top of the screen / roof to keep it steady.

1st Session (remember i've never been on this track before, and I had just replaced the n/s driveshaft as I had a bad wheel wobble on the sighting laps, and didn't know if I had cured the problem, oh and the rear caliper started binding).
