Car missing

Hi,

I am driving a Skoda Octavia LX Mk1 2000 model. Last week my battery was dead so I replaced battery. Now I am having another problem. When I start my car after long time around 30 min or 1 hr, It starts perfectly fine in first attempt. However if I stop it just after and try to restart it then it does not start in first attempt. I have to try it couple of time and then it start. Battery switches on but car does not start. same is the case when It stops on the road. I did my basic service three months ago and spark plugs was changed 1 and half year ago. 

BTW It is bit cold here in Stockholm also around -1, -2 degree. Any help will be highly appreciated.
