Seat surgeons :-)

They are ****ing lovely. Love a bit of quilted leather! If I didn't have my SE interior I'd prob have something identical to those.

I did laugh at the se leather on eBay for £800...

I recon £400 - £500 on a good day!

As for the above, that's the nicest interior I've seen yet!

I've seen 2 or 3 lately of full black leather for about £600 - £650.

Think I will just have to do some more research if I'm going to buy second hand not paying £800 though if not I think it's gonna be seat surgeons :)

These are really nice how much did these set you back pal?

Got em off someone on here whod only had them done a few months previously, money and swap for standard interior, but he only payed about 1k for em done at seat surgeons :). . Best mod ive done getting rid of that drab white cloth!

To retrim the whole interor?!?!? :wonder:

Theyve done that many that they have all the templates, get it all stitched up before you go then just swap the covers over while the cars in and finish the bits they need to. . .I believe thats how its done anyway. Not certain.

Either way them seats are very nice and quite poss the best I've seen in a fabia nd wouldn't mind paying over a grand for them :)

You could also go for MK1 TT seats too.  Cheap as chips compared to the VRS leathers.

How much are these?

Is that front and back?

No I didn't bother with the backs.  They can be picked up for a few quid easily though as most people just seem to want the fronts. At the time I bought these it was just the fronts that were for sale.  Anything else I saw similar had rips, or burns etc on them.  These include the brackets (trimmed in black cloth in the second pic) and all the work done to make them a straight bolt in swap.

AFIK Seat Surgeones 'normally' charge about £850 + VAT.

Mine took just 3 hours. I think I caught Paul at a good time because I paid A LOT less than above!

Please can non freedom members not post up items for sale

OP, you might be better posting an ad in the wanted section

Thats the difference between Autotrim and Seat Surgeons, at Seat Surgeons they will have all the pattern ready done where as Autotrim would have to unpick all your seats and then trace it all out so you end up paying more! The work they do is excellent though:

This is some custom work they did on my mates Mk7 Fiesta:

All trimed, made his car mats, seat belts also custom stiched alcantara roof liner, handles, sun visors and A B C pilers. Then this is the work they did on my friends Focus Rs:

Was that for the pink rs?

Different coloured seat belts, I like the sound of that.

Was that for the pink rs?

Yeah it was, its my friends Geoff n Kerry's. Well its Kerrys car obviously Geoff built it, pic of said car with one of its many sets of wheels:

Thought it was, her old rs turbo was stunning too. I've read his build threads on passion Ford he is unreal at his work

A lot of us also have "bargain basement" leather but despite that very happy. My recaro refit was a minor ball ache lol, but worth it.

They are WELL comfy and more comfy than the standard vRS seats or anything remotely like it (e.g. sport seats, which are just vRS style seats really).

It was well worth getting cheap donors, meant I sold my good condition vRS seats for decent price and so cost me <£100 to get decent RECARO leather. So well happy.

To be honest it will never look as good though as your retrims on new leather, but fantastic value and still good looks for what its worth so just a different idea.
