So with this turbo , tx autosport front mount, egr delete, stage 2 map , pd130 injectors and full decat am I right in saying 200bhp isn't put the question ??

I spoke to a guy and he said the intercooler was fine for hybrid power it copes, we'll see I think it was jabba who said it wasn't upto the job - but they would say that as they flog fmic 3 to 4 times the price, my mate runs a similar fmic on a gtb1756 and it makes good power

Well am sure there's a local guy running a Ibiza with 240bhp give or take with the same cooler but of course jabbasports is better corse there guna say that when it's £700

On this hybrid you'll get more than 200 prob 215 ish

I would hope 220 is possible.  You will essentially have the same setup as my post-mongrelling conversion.

Ok, I'm not taken on jabbasport under mapping someone's car in the hope they'll just go "oh alright then, give us one of your pro alloy kits". Not only would the chances of that happening be tiny, would they really put there reputation on the line for a quick couple of hundred quid?

You can push 200bhp on a smic so the tx one should be fine at the power, I was just saying past that the intercooler would be your limiting factor. This was of course before I knew Jason had been using a tx autosport intercooler on his car with a hybrid.

What part of your setup were you not sure on being up to the job?

I'm using Darkside's 3.0 TDI hybrid turbo.  290bhp last week without NOS.  315 with NOS.  Still got a lot more boost to come!

The block its self mate being a pd100 to start I'm not sure if there's any difference from that to say my old vrs 130 engine but obviously 5 speed also but with a g60 solid flywheel and a vr6 Kevlar clutch I'm hopeing itl cope ok.

I just couldn't n justify £70" on a cooler for 200 or so break yeah granted there pipe work n fitment looks awesome but 3 kids mortgage n a wife telling her the words £700 is like a swear word haha ..

But I don't wheel spin or fly off the lights things like that so I'm assuming the clutch setup is more ban enough I just want some poke for the off chance I'm on me own maybe on a motorway or duel carriageway

Well I'm looking at a company called big fish tuning there have a great reputation up here for there skills so I'm hoping for 200 anything over wi be a massive bonus
