Tyre offers?

Featured Replies

Evening all,

Don' fret i'm not trying to start that age old debate of what tyre is best to fit. :wall:  However I've got to buy for all 4 corners at the end of the month (just what i need but hey ho..) & i'm looking to see if anyone has seen or knows of any deals out there at the moment?

I suppose I'm thinking of the old 4 for 3 offers or like Michelin did pre Xmas with £60 cash back on fuel if your buy 2 tyres.

I will of course do some reseasrch myself but if anyone has any knowledge in this area it would be much appreicated. I'm located on the south coast - close to Fareham (just incase there are area specific deals on).

Thanks in advance

Mark

was in kwick fit the other day and they have loads of offers atm. Probably cheaper buying via someone like black circles, camskill, etyres etc anyway though

Camskill & black circles are on my radar. It's the right balaance of price & service for me. My last wheel balancing was a tad poor & it cost me twice over in the end. Thanks for the reply though.

I've previously used; Mytyres, Camskill and Black Circles but Asdatyres beat all of those when I replaced my two fronts a few weeks ago (didn't even know they did tyres). Their website operates the same as the others and I'd wouldn't have any qualms about using them again.

Lovetyres have prices that I've never seen beaten if you have a local fitter you can use over a fitting included price on other tyre sites.

Purchased two Conti SC5's for mine with fitting and balancing from Best Buy Tyres for about £119 a corner which I thought was a relative bargain given I was looking at at least £160 a corner buying off the web through my usual fitter.

Our local indy in Penrith always seems to be offering better prices than any of the online retailers. Worth checking...

Do you have access to Macro or Costco? You can get tyres there cheaper sometimes.

I usually find oponeo or camskill are the cheapest, as long as you know someone who will fit them for a reasonable price.

A local tyre company tried charging me £20 per tyre to fit a couple of tyres i bought of Oponeo recently! Told them where to go!

I'll throw another place in the mix. I've used event tyres for the last 3 sets. Come fit on the driveway so I merely have to summon the strength to open the door.

I paid £85e fitted for 225/45/17xl sessantas and £53e for 195/50/15 falken 453's.

Always on time and polite, can't fault service.

These guys are my first choice too.

Merit tyres if in the south. Elite tyres if in Essex or eat London.

We tend to use the Woking branch of merit

On phone so cannot see your location
