Columbus fix ?

Hi i have a question, can a Columbus in an Superb 2010 be updated to get Bluetooth audio ? not just phone Bluetooth.
and can the Language be updated to other With change of factory SW ,just like in my 2012 Superb med HW-verson H60 and SW 3984.
In my brother`s 2010 Superb i dont find the hidden menu behind setup button so i dont have the verson of his Columbus ,I live in Norway.

BT audio streaming is down to the BT module actually fitted to the car and connected to the Columbus.

What module do you have?

Language can be changed and more have been added with more recent firmware updates.

Have you looked on the 'My GTi' website for info regarding firmware updates?

The hidden menu can be activated with VCDS if you have access to that. Or the original model & firmware can be found by looking at the white sticker on top of the Columbus.

DIY ABS warning Fix

Yesterday our Roomster started beeping and flashing the warning light about the ABS. My first thought was to replace the ABS sensors – they are around £7 each and seem to be easy enough to replace by removing the rear wheels. I could also give the connections a bit of a clean at the same time. What are my chances chances of fixing the issue within 45 minutes of DIY work? I don’t have any diagnostic tools, but if this is a common fault with an easy fix it would be great to know what other peo

I have a 2010 Fabia 1.2 and the ODB port isn't playing ball. Tried 2 different scanners and they both fail to auth with the ECU. I initially thought it might be a bad fuse so I replaced num 22, didnt change a thing. Slipped the port out of the dash and made sure that the wires are fully seated in the connector, no change. I've tried with electrics on and also engine on, doesn't make a difference. Does anybody have any suggestions on what to look for next?

Hi, My tensioner failed at low revs and speed, the car juddered and stalled. It restarted and I drove home about a mile steadily. It seemed to drive normally if a little noisy. Next day it would start but not run. The check engine light was on. Pretty sure the Timing jumped a tooth. Q. do the valves always hit the pistons? do the valves always bend? Might I get away with an new tensioner and re-time? TIA

Hi, I'm looking at a 72k mile Skoda Superb 65 plate, hopefully lots of motorway miles. It looks good, my main concerns being the lack of dsg oil change & potential for carbon build up due to direct injection. I currently have a mk6 Golf GTI (EA888 Gen 1) which didn't support dual injection & bit me when the carbon build up & clogged injectors caused a flooded cylinder.
