I passed my test in October and so I purchased my first car within a week of passing!

It's the skoda fabia classic 1.4 mpi 8v, I paid £999 for it with 78,000 miles on the clock.

So far I have covered just over 2000 trouble free miles, I am very pleased with her!

I have already made a few changes which included;

16" fabia vrs wheels- £150 from gumtree

Prosport coilovers- £190 from dpm performance

Xenon style headlight bulbs- £39.99 from halfords

Led bulbs lighting the rear number plate- £12.99 from halfords

Momo seat covers- £39.99 from Argos

So far that is all, I do have plans to do much more and I will be updating the thread very often so any feedback is much appreciated!

Also any advice/ tips would be awesome

As you can see there is a big difference between the new xenon style sidelights and the original ones!

Good start. I used to have a 1.4 mpi, I'd see if you could find a GT front bumper skirt as they pop up on ebay sometimes and make a massive difference to the front!

I personally wouldn't of paid 39.99 for bulbs? you could probably get them alot cheaper and better quality online other than halfords!

Any other plans?

Thanks alex! I have been keeping my eyes peeled for the sport/gt bumper but they seem to be like rocking horse **** to find haha

I have ordered a powertec induction kit from POTN.com but still waiting for it to be delivered!

How much did you pay for the bumper if you don't mind me asking?

I got it eBay when there was a few on there for about £40 delivered getting it sprayed will cost more than that though depending if you know someone who can do it, luckily I knew someone who only charged me for the paint.

Quick update- ripspeed single din d740 fitted couple weeks ago with many thanks to hutchysrs50 for helping me out! Got it for a bargain at £80 second hand!

Also finally got round to spraying my grille surround yesterday too.

Fitted my team heko wind deflectors today!

So I had my roof and door pillars wrapped today in Matt black. What does everyone think?

I like it!

 

Think it would look better without the wind deflectors but that's me being EXTREMELY picky

I think the black roof looks wicked, not sure about the black wing mirrors though.

Not a big fan of matt black, think the black gloss would look so much better. Hey, but still I like the car

Do you have a link? just wondering how much they're going for because I still have my old one.

So after a long wait finding a sport/gt front bumper I have finally got my hands on the full sport trim!!

Front bumper, rear bumper, spoiler and wheel arches!

Got it off a chap from Ireland for £150 posted which isn't too bad I suppose

Now it will be off to the paint shop for a spray within the next few weeks so will upload photos of the finished product can't wait!
