Skoda should make this a colour for the monte?

Featured Replies

So, I was having a play around on my iPad, and I did this to a photo of my monte.

I personally think that it looks amazing, and I think skoda should make this a colour that is available to purchase.

I am seriously thinking of having this wrapped.

Just wanted to know what you guys thought about it.

Go for it. :)

"Dare to be different!"

I don't think it should be available to everyone because then it's not unique.

It looks really good IMO so go for it! Would you keep the graphics? I think it makes the graphics look better..

DO. IT.

Colour , yep.

Checks, yep.

Writing, nope.

Just my 2p's worth :)

I imagine that will be a colour on the first MK3's at launch,  almost all Manufacturers still do a very noticeable colour on the first cars on the road so that the public do notice them.

Lime Green, Orange, Bright Blue etc

Some turn out to be classics for years to come, like many of the Fords,

and some plummet in price after a year or so and and are just Marmite, hard to get a good trade in price on,

because few wants to buy them as a used car, an example being ones from the likes of Seat, Audi, Vauxhall & Fiat.

Looks okay, personally a bit brighter would suit me (like the Ford Orange). I really wanted the Rallye Green, but did want and automatic  (sorry DSG) car. toying with the idea of this wrap!

Mine is already Orange...

And I love it cos it's unique and Skoda don't offer the Fabias in my Colour anymore...

Love that Orange. Great combination with the Black. Go for it :)

Which are the unpopular colours that you had in mind?

I don't recall any recent Fiats that launched with a distinctive but unwelcome colour.

Jay, the more I see it the more I like it!

Fiat Qubo,  Funky Orange, Disco Green Metallic.

The orange and black combo look great

Thanks for all the replies!

I think I will defiantly get a quote on how much this would be to have done, because the whole reason I had the decals is to make it unique, and with the orange it is surly a one off.

Not sure wether to keep the writing or not, I think I'd have to re-design the checkers and then have just them?

I think the writing is a little too much, for me anyway.

I like the checkers against the orange much more.

I was thinking of getting the bonnet wrapped in black but as far as I know there is no where local to me that does it.

When I researched having the black parts wrapped in carbon fibre I was quoted between £400-900 so I'm sure the higher amount would be a ball park figure for a colour change, don't forget telling your insurers though.

Jay, save your cash and make do with what you've done so far.

It's a lot of dead money just to change the colour of your car on a whim.

Your insurance company may refuse to cover due to the vinyl wrap, I work for a large insurance company and we don't cover wrapping.

You lose enough money in normal depreciation without doing stuff that might only appeal to a minority but, as always, it's your wonga so whatever makes you happy

Your car might end up looking like someone from TOWIE, it'll be like false tan for your car.
