Couple from me, liking the beads hanging off the Monte's roof bars in this first shot.

Very nice Andy - how are you finding the Adam's products?

I'm still testing out a few options - but the wash mitt and QD are very good.

I'd just finished washing the car in a break in the rain, and managed to get round it with a coat of BSD when the heavens opened again. Most of it sheeted straight off, but left a few beads on the bonnet & roof to catch the sun a few minutes later :)

I keep trying shots with the phone, which are OK, but I end up going back to the DSLR to get something I'm happy with. Macro photography is interesting stuff, and beads & reflections, both internal and external, make good subject matter :)

Certainly better than my iPhone !!

Lighting is everything I find with these type of shots, though I'm no expert

Totally agree - the phone is fine for quick snaps; but every so often i do get

the DSLR out to take some close ups and add to the depth of field if possible.

I must get my DSLR out at some point...Havent used it in ages Martin

It certainly adds a depth to photos ...that's for sure, particularly in Macro mode!

Got round to washing the car for the first time in ages, iFoam followed by Born to to mild. Pretty sure the BSD was re-invigorated (open hose sheeted off nicely) but put some more on anyway. The result in light rain is rather nice (oh to have my DSLR with me):

Often LSP's are refreshed by the washing process...BSD is no exception

Great picture

Funny you should say that ChrisRs ....

I was very surprised yesterday, the last application I made of BSD was sometime in August, was over 3-4 week old BH Doublespeed that in turn had gone over 3 week old Fusso99.

The car has never been left so long without a wash before. Despite being filthy and unwashed for at least 2.5 months, after I cleaned it up and did the final rinse, I noticed the water was still sheeting very well.

Fusso re-applied for the winter, then come spring I will be back to the BH double speed, as that's my current favourite :)

Thanks for posting this observation Mr.G

Dirt tends to lie over the wax surface...What this does is visually affect the behaviour of your chosen LSP

When this thin layer is removed by washing, it exposes the layer to the elements again

Obviously this wont continue for ever, but that's why you see this
