Ive only had this car a few weeks but so far I love it more and more as I drive it, Its a great alrounder you can have great fun with it but at the same time take your granny for nice slow sunday drive. Mods so far are Piper cross air filter, Heko wind deflectors, Black grill and surround. stage 2 remap. first thing I done to the car was a full service followed by some new michy pilot 3's. Next job is to get the paint touched up on the front bumper then look around for a front splitter and some better back lights.

         

Nice looking car, not too sure on the badgeless grill myself but each to their own. Petrol or diesel? Whereabouts in County Durham are you? Do you know what power it's producing?

I keep looking at the grill and saying to myself there's something missing, I have thought about putting another type of vrs badge on it but not made me mind up yet. The standard grill on the car just looked every other Octavia grill which was why I changed it. Power out put according to the rolling road sheet is 260 bhp and 375 Nm of torque. I live in South Hetton in between Peterlee and Hetton le Hole.

What exhaust/downpipe/cat did you go for? Are you going to do the fuel pump?

Exhaust is still stock at the moment apart from the front pipe, Im not sure what system to go for as I don't want a noisey system so will be looking for advice on that. As for the fuel pump I didn't know any thing about it so any advice i would gratefull as these cars are all new to me every thing is a learning curve.

Is that a decat or a hi flow cat on your downpipe?

I didn't fit the front pipe it was already done, Got the bill for it somewhere ill dig it out and have a look.

Must admit ive been thinking about getting the surround of the grill colour coded, More so as ive got it booked in for some paint work touch up on the 23rd of this month I will have a good think and may ask how much more it would cost.

I think the grille looks a lot better colour coded to the car, Better than chrome, Been thinking about doing mine.
