That's a very cool effect! Can see I'm gonna have to get the missus behind the wheel so I can try and copy that

How did you keep steady so the C2 stays sharp? must be a smooth road! or did you use a flash too?

Impressive shot!

He he, must give that a try from my Girlfriends Smart. The split boot gives a little seat to pearch on!

I will get round to buying a decent Digi at some point I think.

Looks so much nicer than the photoshop 'fakes' of the same style.

The slower you go, the better picture. <5mph if possible.

However, you'll need to increase the shutter speed (1sec+) BUT you need some darkening filters (ND i think) so as not to blow out the picture...

The slower you drive, the better and clearer the picture. Ace pic of the citreon though ;)

I have a car mount for really slow pics

the polorizer is good for a 2 stop reduction

great shot that ;) i usually find an ak47 is pretty good for shooting a moving car :p

Neat!

If anyone wants to give this a go themselves, try it with a van with split rear doors. Leave the driver's-side door open and the other shut to stop you falling out. You can get really low. Vans ride nicer, too!

Also, if your vehicles have cruise, use it and synchronise both to the same speed!

Done some mad tracking **** like in Belgium shooting two Audi TTs out the back of an armour-plated van (that just happened to be available!). At 50mph, the driver of the front TT was so close that I could tap his bonnet. It was a bit silly.

Now have a safer way of doing this that means you significantly reduce the risk of falling out under the car behind :D

Disclaimer - I'm not actually endorsing any of this. It's idiotic, irresponsible, totally abominable and will get probably get you killed. But until that point, your shots will be very nice.

Another piece of advice - if you do this from the boot of a car like Vibrio, make sure the lifters hold the tailgate open really well otherwise you will get a face full of metal. And at 40-50mph this is a very bad thing because you may fall out and die.

Or the guy whos following you will loose control laughing so hard... then crash and die  - occupational hazard? lol

Thats a really cool pic vibrio... makes me want to get myself a decent camera :(

Excellent pic... need to get someone to do this for me so i can be driving my car

Edit: What shutter speed at 30mph or 20mph??

Well, anyone in Berks who wants to have a go? I'll try it with my cam.
