Hello!

My name is Eirik and I became a Skoda-owner last Friday I live outside Oslo, Norway

My new car is a Skoda Octavia II, Combi, 1,6TDI, 4x4, 2011-model

It is very white (Stormtrooper-edition?) I love the aux. heater, specially since the winter just came to southern part of Norway

I will try to contribute in this forum as best as I can.

The car is the Winter-edition of Octavia. The dealer told med it is a 4x4 Octavia with aux. heater and Xenon headlights. Are there other differences to an "ordinary" 4x4 Octavia?

As far as I can read from ads the "Winter-edition" is a 4x4 Elegance with Auxiliary heater mounted.

I am not sure if there are another features that is not on the "regular" 4x4 Elegance model - there ar not much (official) info to find on the web.

I bought a sportline flat bottom steering wheel but it was the heated version with the view button. I knew the airbag would have a bit of a gap but I didn’t like how it looked or felt overall. So I now have that for sale if anyone is interested. I am on the hunt for a round leather steering wheel. Version with phone button not view button, but with the DSG paddles. If anyone can point me in the direction of the correct part number or even if you have one for sale please let me know!

Last year I had my 2013 Mk. 2 Fabia air conditioning (A/C) serviced by WeChillAnyCar - I had used them before on a different car. They extracted the gas, refilled it, (allegedly) tested that everything worked and I paid them for the work.. I didn't think to test it until a few weeks later when I discovered that it didn't work at all. Hi all, Anyone else getting repeat Infotainment updates that don't appear to be installing, I'm getting this problem on my 2024 Superbs Infotainment unit nearly every day, when I look on the Information tab I can see the updates and when it says they're installed, and a prompt to say the installation will be active the next time the car is started, so all looks correct. First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it.
