Hi,

 

Can anybody advise why I cant get the interior panel off my Octavia?

 

I've removed the small screws from the two sides and bottom of the panel but it only moves about an inch and sticks.

 

I don't want to pull in case I knacker up the panel.

 

The fault is with the driver lock and need to check the connections on the central locking unit as mentioned in another thread.

Hi Bill,

 

It sounds like you haven't undone the screws in the armrest. On mine (mk1 octy vrs) you have to prise up the electric window switch panel and undo two torx screws. I guess the newer octy models are similar, but it may be worth letting us know what octavia you have....

Yaaaayyy! :-)

And then with the plastic off if you're trying to get at the lock you might then be in for the treat of having to drill the rivets out of the inner panel, and re-rivet them back in after!
