Update :(

Fitted new plug no change? Surely that should of sorted it !

Do i need to reset ECU? Iv tried the 30sec ignition on, then pedal 3rd 2/3 then full every 30secs then off for 1 min does that work?

Back to square 1 any advice would be great

get it compression tested, you could saved a fortune by not just replacing everything at a guess tho mate. I would almost certainly say the exhaust valve guide is worn and letting the valve move around and not seat properly, adding a bit of electrical load to the engine at idle is just finishing it off really.

quite a big job on these engines and can be expensive.

Also if that altenator is charging at 16V or more take it off before you blow up the airbag control module quickly followed by the engine control module and every other electrical component on the car
