Sound Generator Disable ?

Featured Replies

As title, can it be done via in car menu, or dealer programming ?

I test drove the TDi and it clearly had it as I thought, "blimey, this doesn't sound like a diesel" .... TBH not as artificial sounding as I expected, but personally I would want to hear my actual engine even if it doesn't sound so "sporty". So can it be disabled easily enough ?

best find out were the speaker for it is then ;)

Do a search. Many threads on it.  Can be found near the wiper motor and simply unplugged. There was even a that with photos... Yesterday I think.  Fairly sure vcds can disable it too but might be wrong on that

Yes, with VCDS it can be turned off. Or simply unplug it.

Sent from my phone so please excuse brevity and spelling
