Just to add I had all 4 L packs replaced under recall this week, I was advised to contact Skoda UK to request a refund for the bosch replacements I had purchased 4 days earlier to keep me on the road.

also, got a free valet which has hidden a couple of minor marks and vastly reduced a big ding in the drivers door.

Yep I thought so too, even got a free pre mot check so I know what I need to get sorted in the next month.

only 1 downside I forgot to mention, when I picked the car back up it was still misfiring. My dealer wanted me to book it in for investigation, at an unknown cost, turned out they has not connected coil pack 2 properly which I sorted at the side of the road.

That is typical of the dealers mate.. prob pre meditated hoping you knew bugger all

 

They told me my engine oil was over filled... yet when I dropped sump and changed turbo, I put 4.5 ltrs in which is hat they take.!!
