Here you go. It catches the light very nicely and there's so much glass to brighten it up. Really pleased.

I only got a quarter tank of fuel but, I got 8.65% off Q4-2013 prices in the first place so, I'm more than happy. I got no photos yet, to busy driving and smiling, I'll tryto get some photos soon bu

told today that my vrs estate has been called off to be delivered to the dealers next tuesday, built 15 jan bw3, dealer deliberately left it at port for as long as possible, in order for me to get the 14 plate that id insisted on,looking forward to march1st now

My 2.0tdi elegance, race blue, columbus, canton, xenon, leds n wot not, is coming from lease company. originally promised by them, delivered 3rd feb, now told begining of march. not told why, dont really care TBH, I just want it. But if its getting delivered by lease company at begining of march, it must have been registered prior to that, maybe weeks prior, so maybe a 63 plate being delivered in march :(

the lease company only deliver on 1st monday of month, so if the car was sent to them on for example 10th Feb, it'll be just sitting waiting for me somewhere.

I know it makes no difference really, especially on a company car, but i will have at least a little shread of disappointment if it comes as a 63

Good luck, let us know...

Why care, its a CC, its still new, 14 plate will be old hat before you know it. Just look forward to getting it I would, not worth worrying about

i wouldn't have cared too much. there'd just be that point when it comes off the back of the transporter on 3rd march with a 63 plate and it'd look somehow a little less 'new'. But no, the feeling would only last maybe a day, tho once i was inside it, i doubt it'd cross my mind.

Anyway, got a phone call from lease company this morning confirming 3rd March delivery on a 14 plate, so its not a problem. Counting the days now

The Lease Company most probably desires a 14 plate more than you due to the increase in residual values. After the lease period a "14" will be worth ~£500 more than the "53", even if the cars are built on the same day. It makes clear business sense for them to register it as a 14.

13 & 53 says 2013 to buyers, even if the 53 may really be a 2014 registered car.

Lets just hope no cars were out on a boat in the North Sea last night........

BTW Orville, I'm sure you meant 63.

Dealer confirmed my O3 is in the UK compound so, it seems it was at sea last week, glad I didn't know that before it docked still, we're all good for collection on the 1st might have to go back the following Friday for the towbar to be fitted but, I can live with a few hours waiting around for the towbar fitter.

Anything to get outta that bloody I10 now, I've been in it since the 28/10/13, it would help sell the wife's old one sooner but, we've gotta fix it first, she managed to scrap it down her collegues mini last week at work. :wall:

How much fuel in general does the dealers put in,mine got 20 quid he reckons,il see tomorow morning, made the owner reclean it as they put a guy to clean it that I had specifically asked not to put anywhere near it as he does a half arsed job of it,they have also managed to scuff the shiny black trim on the passenger door, any tips on removing the scuff marks would be appreciated, otherwise he will have to replace them,so picking it up 7,30 tommorow morning then a 160 mile blast to north wales,:-)

I had 100 miles worth in my one...

some say they only had vapour..!!

I've got mine now - probably a quarter of a tank in it which isn't bad at all. I'll probably use that before doing a proper fill.

First impressions are good - it's comfy and very light and airy with the cream leather and panoramic sunroof. It goes well, though you can feel the engine is tight, and I got an indicated 51mpg on the drive home which isn't too bad.

I'll take it out for a drive in a bit and get some photos in the sun.

The only slight hitch was the dealer forgot to order the SD Card for the sat nav but they'll drop it off on Tuesday for me.

10am this morning, 75 miles worth of diesel, really chuffed to bits so far. Gonna take a bit of practice to get m'head round the infotainment (whoever thought of that neologism deserves a bullet somewhere sensitive) but I know I'll get there and can't wait for a decent run out with m'canton bangin' out some toons

I've been out in it this afternoon and it really is lovely to drive. I wasn't impatient and was happy to wait, but it's very good to have it now.
