Super Skoda

Featured Replies

Has anyone used Super Skoda for ordering parts where do they come from as the prices are in Euros.

I ordered form them. They ship from the Czech Republic, homeland of Skoda Auto. I recommend them strongly!

I ordered a honeycombe grille from them for my previous Octavia. Part arrived quickly and was as they described. I was thinking of doing the same mod to my new Octavia but the part in question has doubled in price!!

I'm still waiting for some parts I ordered almost three weeks ago, I hope they get here soon... :(

Ordered a few parts like mats, flaps and sill protectors from them a few weeks back and they arrived within a week of ordering.

However some parts are cheaper than the UK others not. Also you have to watch charges such as postage, paying by paypal and then paypal's cost converting euro's to pounds.

By the time I'd finished there was little or no saving over going to the dealer but one of the parts I was after is only available on their site.

Ordered a gloss black bumper protector, speedy delivery, no complaints here.

One member who had issues was told where to go.

I'm sure if you search the forum you'll find the thread where they had issues.

I've not tried any of them yet, as I'm waiting for the car first, but other sites I've found are:

horton skoda http://www.theskodashop.co.uk/  they don't look cheap though

skoda parts ireland  http://www.skodapartsireland.ie/  euros again so you have a conversion, but look cheper than supa skoda for mud flaps, car and boot mats (maybe more)  postage is £15, what is it from superskoda?

They seem reliable but:

- their transporter GLS is awful. One of the worst in Europe.

- one of the items i ordered was broken. I raised a claim yesterday, They offered to send me a new one tomorrow.

- don't buy their " front MEGA POWER led dome lights KI-R - V2 Round". They are absolutely not powerful and will only give you a crappy Blueish light. Any good w5w led bulb is better.

Sent an e-mail to Horton parts ref another item I was after; still waiting for a reply 3 weeks later. Ordered instead from;

www.skodaparts.com

They were very quick with a reply; just awaiting the order which I placed yesterday.

http://eshop.skoda-auto.com/cz/en/b2c is also quite cheap but they don't ship outsize CZ.

I'm considering driving from Norway to Prauge to get parts... the savings will cover the trip if I get 4x 18" Turini wheels + other small parts I have on my shopping list.

Could make a small family vacation of it. I just can't get myself to pay what the Norwegian Skoda dealer is asking for parts (2x of UK prices, 3-4x of CZ prices).
