VRS on ebay, anyone recognise it?

Featured Replies

Usually you would find the discs will out live the pads significantly - ie for every time you change the disc, you will probably go through 2-3 sets of pads.

  • Im back, went there ended up buying the car for 6 grand as it was to good to resist. Me and dodgy dave went out for a slap up meal with his grandnother and back to his flat for a gangbang.

  • I'm bored with the day off so I have asked how the gauge measures boast.

fair enough, ive always changed both at same time. There still plenty more things we can pick at on it though.

Is it usual to change brake pads and not discs?

I was always under the impression that any uneven wear on disc will just transfer on to new pads.

Yes as said 2/3 sets of pads per set of discs.

Aslong as discs are not warped your fine!

You cannot however use new discs with old pads

I do actually have the day off tomorrow.

Job done, thanks Joe for so eagerly volunteering for this, I'm sure I speak for everyone on this forum by saying we all look forward to you reporting back with your outcome. Who should we contact in the event of you failing to return?

Too right!! Just may have to put a call in tomorrow showing my interest...

Ask him if he's willing to take a reclining armchair in PX.

If it was closer, I'd go and have a look. Too far for me sadly. And what a gem that dealer is... such a nice man.

Eton, followed by PPE at Oxford I suspect, having an attitude like that.

Anyway, 22 bids so far, £1020, I pity the poor soul that eventually wins it and has to meet the seller, especially if he requests further clarification on the correct operation and functionality of that 'Boast Gauge'.

WTF! People can actually make a living out of raping grannies? Would love to see that guys CV :D  Seriously though, the guy sounds like a right prat!

Its for sale in Bradford...

And for that reason alone I'm out.

Went to look at a Clio in Bradford a couple years ago. Never wanted to get out of a place as quick lol.

I was desperate for a leak so I went round the back of some red brick thing by the side of the road and almost ended up lying on a mattress covered in hypodermic needles!

Treated Like Crap?

Appropriately I'm sat on 'the throne' whilst looking at the bay ad, and concentrating more on infinity, life, the universe, and everything in it, I initially misread the reg no as 'Dogs his ex's '

Then as I wiped up I realised my mistake, that it was 'Dosge his p/ex's'

I'm looking for a car for my brother in law, who has a rust-addled, rear-ended Hyundai s coupe to part ex, I think I'll ring this guy up for a giggle and see what deal he can do.

I'll lay odds that his opening reply will e something like "okay, mate, innit?"....

Showing off your intercooler is ghay (in my opinion)

But bad drivers can crash into good drivers.

Or it can be just out of their hands; Jim Clark, Roland Ratzenberger, Ayrton Senna etc etc

He has now messaged me asking if I want a fight and he is good at finding people on the internet.
