Baildon Bridge Car Lott; I don't recognise the 'Lott' abbreviation detailed in the address line, could it be lottery - a game of chance maybe?  For example, will he punch your lights out or not when you either purchase the car, or politely introduce yourself as 'Joe'?  

But bad drivers can crash into good drivers.

In that case its an advantage for the bad driver to not have a crash bar as his car will crumple like a used tissue and reduce the damage it does to yours.
