What smart phones have you successfully tested with the new Columbus Infotainment pls?

 

I have a Samsung GS2 and would like to get a GS5 when available later in the year - good or bad idea to fix/create new connection issues? I will also get the "PhoneBox" option for the improved connection and battery usage.

 

Your experience of how issues have been resolved in the past, i.e Columbus s/w upgrade or phone OS upgrade and the responsiveness in case you had to wait for a Skoda upgrade?

 

Can you list your experience pls.

Nokia E7-00 - all right, no problems, everything has to work

Samsung GS3 works with no problems.

Spotify doesn't pass over meta data, but that's a Spotify problem.

iPhone 5S - everything works well, just the contact pictures don't appear on the Columbus. From what I heard android sends the contact pictures also.

HTC 8X with Windows Phone 8 (yes I know...) works perfectly fine, including contact pictures etc. So far I haven't noticed anything that it can't do.

My Galaxy S3 will not Stream Bluetooth Audio (Stutters and Skips), Tried an old Samsung Omnia Pro B7330 (Windows 6.5) and that was fine

What version do you have on the GS3 ?

My Galaxy S3 worked fine streaming on a demonstrator Superb Elegance with Columbus that I had for the weekend so there may be a firmware update available for the Columbus as this was a new vehicle

Everything works fine but it doesn't import the contacts.
