It is the one with 2 diodes and light in the buttons.

Maybe it is called cat eye also

Rear footwell light comes with electric front seats. So if you want to use OEM parts, investigate some Elegance model seats.

The current Superb has the 2 LEDs. I'd try and find parts off a current car rather than parts from the W8 Passat! Especially as the lighting in the Passat parts is red, instead of the green/white of the Skodas. I've seen people wire in rear footwell lights into other VAG cars, so it should be doable.

so a w8 is a Passat..lol no wonder I had no clue, I didn't realise we were talking about LIGHT emitting diodes and not just diodes either..

Jeeeesssss   lol

Yes i need the original parts. I just need to find were i can buy it... And not at Skoda :-)

Bold-sport sell the OE footwell lights and wiring looms.

What country are you in? have you tried ebay?

Skoda call it Cat-Vision isn't it standard on all Superbs?

Cat vision, yes ! That was the mame :-) thanks

I don't have it :-) mine is a greenline. Most likly an active

I actually find cat vision quite irritating. It's fine in well lit urban areas but out on dark roads no matter how low I set the interior lights I find the bluey/white glow around the cup holder which sits right at the periphery of your vision to be distracting. I'd like to be able to disable it in the maxidot settings but it's not an option.
