Front suspension arm rubber bushes

Featured Replies

Well I went for just the bushes in the end. £17.47 each + VAT for Lemforder ones from allgermanparts.co.uk..

I might just take to a local garage to do as it's probably a lot easier that way as I've not got a press or anything.

  • I use the Ibiza Cupra solid bushes, never had a problem.

  • When my car was much newer, I had drive in a car with the solid type in for comparison purposes, massive difference in steering response. MUCH better. Well worth the change.

Done this tonight, hour each side incl a clean on the inside of the wheels.

Bushes not too bad, a lot tighter on the road and hardly no knocking over the bumps now. The whole control arm would of been better, but saved myself £140.

As expected tracking just needs doing now.
