My wifes vRS combi ordered 23rd dec still does not have even a provisional build date. ?.any one else with out one? Cambridge dealer says all there vRS orders in dec do not have any BW or provisional Bw. In contrast I have ordered a new GTi with Performance pack, Adaptive dampers, Park Assist, Sat nav, keyless go, 19" Santiago, Climate windscreen & Advanced phone prep, plus ACC as standard. Place mid Jan and have a confirmed BW 10...

Ordered 19th dec. vRS TDi estate. No build week when I called dealer last week.

I ordered on Christmas Eve, I have spoken to my dealer and he doesn't have a build week yet.

I think it might be a call to Skoda UK in a couple of weeks.

Ordered vRS TDI estate, race blue with a few extras on 15th December 2013. No build week for me either... The wait continues...

shame Skoda cant adopt the online tracker that vw use.

A provisional build week doesn't seem to mean anything, but does give a warm feeling. I ordered a manual tsi hatch with just sunset glass on the 18th and have a provisional bw13. IF that sticks then I'll be collecting around 21 April onward (allowing 2 weeks to build and ship, 2 for pdi and registration) which is 19+ weeks from order. That seems the standard/best you can expect for a vRS currently.

I ordered xmas eve, had a provisional build week of 19, then 15, then nothing on the system. So at this point I rolled the dice and added winter pack to my order. I still dont have another build week allocated yet.

Ordered around 28th December and got a provisional build week 21 on 5th Jan (or around that date) and when I last checked a few weeks ago I was told it was now week 17.

I think I will tive SUK a ring ..dealer seems to know nothing.

When I rang SUK they were less than helpful! Just referred me back to the dealer saying that they can only see what the dealer can see. He wasn't even willing to check the order system as he said that was on a different computer system in another room! The customer service and communication of Skoda in general is woeful!

If I didn't want the car so badly I'd go elsewhere!

Placed order 16th December but per conversation with dealership sales manager yesterday still no news from skoda.

Been back into my dealers today for a chat, nothing shown on the system for my order at the moment. Dec 24th order.

Called my dealer today and was told it's confirmed BW9 Order placed 20th Dec. 2.0TDI Elegance with many options (incl. ACC and panoroof).

That seems like a decent turn around for the Elegance anyway.

Rang SUK for update said to contact my dealer. They seem to be taking that line now as many other forum users have been told the same. Did update me however....with no progress... 

So, just the VRS's not getting build weeks allocated, Hmmmmm

Still nothing on mine. Ordered 15th Dec, manual TDi vRS estate in race blue. No provisional build week allocated. Although I've read that people have got build weeks between wk12 and 21. The great Skoda lottery continues...

I called Lightcliffe in Warrington and asked this wednesday. Called me back and its got build week 19.

Hi I ordered my VRS Diesel estate on Dec 11th 2013 and no build date for me yet either 

Ordered my Vrs estate 19 Dec, spoke to dealer yesterday Alex Lawrie although no build week showing they were confident of delivery end of April beginning of May.

 

I also ordered from AL and they are checking with Skoda sales support tomorrow for my order from 30th December, they (not their fault) don't have a date and didn't want to put a stake in the ground without factual data (understandably).

just updating this thread as well as the december orders club.  My provisional bw13 has evaporated.  i now have status of unconfirmed build but no week.  plan b is being thought about.

It seems to be getting worse not better.

I bet we dont see many 14's on 1st March from what ever order month.

vRS seems to have issues, my TSI Elegance would have been 8 weeks but, I'm holding out for the 14 plate so, it'll be 9. Some vRS's seem slower than others from what I see on here, diesels slow, diesel estates even slower, add a pano roof, ACC & possible lane assist and you may see Santa sooner than your car.

Apparently, the factory is having some alterations done soon, hopefully this will address some of the delay issues however, I can't see the parts bin lottery being altered unless VW/Audi have a change of heart on their marquee brand priorities.
