Who's car was this? DU06UOV Fabia Vrs

Featured Replies

Hi guys

I've seen this car on eBay and I'm thinking of taking a look at it. It looks like a mint, low mileage example.

The giveaway for me is the new style Skoda badge on the bonnet, which says to me it may have been a Brisky member who owned it!

Anybody got any knowledge on this car at all please?

'Leather and chrome pack'?

Clearly a dealer who knows 2/3's of **** all about a vRS then, or perhaps just careless in applying the wrong description to the wrong car....

Panther black? I thought they were Black Magic metallic like my octy! Lol

They've probably sold a lot of minis. (To birds and estate agents)

Everything's a 'pack' on them.

A wheel on each corner pack. An engine pack. A windscreen pack.

Drivers seat pack etc etc.

Lol'd

Crazy how well Fabia vrs' have retained their selling price! So good for you guys, not good for me when I was looking for one though haha.

Can't believe how they're so expensive and don't have climate control as standard  :wonder:

Mine has the vinyl (gear lever gaitor) and plastic (door handle) pack!

Never seen it before but looks very nice and real clean except for the dull headlights. I would be offering 4,800 though myself and pay no more than 5k after a haggle.

What's the leather pack when it's got cloth seats lol. Damn salesmen will say anything to sell a car! Does look nice though

Imagine how i feel looking for something to replace my written off Fabia.

Fabia VRS on 50k for £5800

Seat Ibiza Sport (in rare 5 door so essentially EXACTLY the same car) on 37k for £4600

no brainer

These cars are holding good money!

I saw one locally on autotrader after a few hours I phoned up but it was sold!

You need to be quick!

I got my se last weekend purely by chance. Had been looking for an se at a dealers for a few weeks and spotted mine in the early stages of an advert on auto trader - ie with no photos!

Jumped straight on it!

But yes, they have held their value incredibly well.

Wish I bought an se from new and kept it...

As somebody whos been looking for a fab vRS without being able to afford one for the past 3/4 months, I've watched the prices slowly raise by nearly 2k on the average example! Not only that, but they are selling quite quick too, so people are willing to pay it.

Can't help but think the universe is against me lol

Hello all. This is my old car! I traded it in last month and it is a good little car. However, I traded it in with 68k on the clock... It's remapped to 170bhp too. Other than that it's mechanically fine...

......oh dear

Its been clocked then

I'd take it with a pinch of salt

previous owner says 68k which can probably be rounded up to 69k,

the ebay advert say 59k

their own website sys 49k

good at sellnig cars.

bad at writing adverts or typing!

:o get on the case! I'd love to see someone turn up and vcds it.

"Why's it say 68k on the ECU?"

Oops

Not all ecu's store mileage. MOT history would provide the closet indication.....

Pretty sure all Fabia ECUs do. I doubt it's been clocked anyway, for 10k on a low mile car anyway

They do, but it is stored in km rather miles, which does confuse people.

interesting about the milage and remap.

Paintwork does look very clean!

And its true, fabias are holding their value very well, but its because people want them! they are great little things.

Previous owner traded the car in at 68,000 miles.....however, it's back for sale at 59,000. Am I missing the point?

Yes, its a typing error as it should say 69,000 miles. The dealers website has another typing error since they have the mileage at 49,000.
