Pop down to Halfords car park and see the lad with the corsa! He'll sort you out!

I think the key to being different Richard is the true Stealth approach to the conversion, take your time to do stuff like hidden back box with discrete downswept tail pipes, less obvious stuff like 16" steels with Genuine skoda trims, all hiding big brakes and decent suspension.

If i were doing it it would be proper low key, something like a fabia Sport / Bohemia interior, again low key yet quite supportive. Imagine a bog standard FG fabia packing 300bhp. You would upset loads on trackdays with that!

Funny you say that I was looking at 16" wheels for mine at a cost of £38 a wheel which I didn't think too bad!

Of the correct off set and all that? :)

Close enough offset.

How difficult would it be to get the rear seats frame removed and just stuffed with filling to make it look stock but be lighter or am I getting a bit over the top?

The rear seats are very light anyway.

If you are going to go REALLY light then most of the interior will be missing and it certainly won't look stock inside.

Look a bit like how the back of mine is now! I can't see much more than 100kg being lost from the interior really!

It's a lot on a 1,150kg car.

You leaving the dash in?

I'm thinking take it out and I'll either fabricate myself a little mount for the clocks or I replace them with a race style dash (digital) I then will get the loom thinned out as I can't see it being used for much apart from track! I'll leave lights etc meaning there is a possibility to do so!

how's that work? Connected to OBD or something?

This one has sensors you have to buy separately I meant to send the pro version that works with canbus etc as well as sensors

That's the same dash panel the Citigo is getting.

Nice! Yours should be done before mine is even half way through so I'll be interested to find out how it is

I know that I shouldn't put temptation in your way but it's cheap, it's on the south coast and it's FANTASY GREEN.

Downsides are:-

Passenger doors damaged

Trailer job to get it home

Do you really need another one?

This should test whether you've finally kicked the FGF habit.

Thanks for the heads up.

I'm on it. :)

Surely this (16" wheels) is all fun and games until you realise your BBK doesn't fit under the steelies and instead of having 225 width tyre tread you are on 185 width rubber with a lot less grip.

All of this you ponder on as you hurtle side ways off track towards the crash barrier

I guess that means you still need more sessions to break this habit or are you trying to go for the reverse psychology aversion therapy option? (i.e. buy every FG Fabia until you're sick of the sight of them)

I think it comes under the classification of "entertaining handling". :D

Just don't stop finding them, you're like my fixer. ;)
