Okay, so you put a bid on a car you didn't really need that was 400 miles away. Well, luckily, someone else has bid £510 so you're off the hook.

Now is the time to be strong and repeat to yourself "I don't need another Fantasy Green Fabia, especially one in Scotland" 10 times and let the other bidder have it.

P.S. I am not the other bidder, promise.

Go on! We all need to see another FGF except this time a FGFVRS

I was quite surprised to see anyone else interested in it! :D

Realised today it's in Glasgow.

With over a week of Commonwealth games on it could make collection tricky/expensive for VRS19TD.

After just seeing that picture of the Fabia SE on the book of faces I've just read the whole project thread and I've got to commend you! What a truly amazing project!

You did well to find it 2+ years on.

My first Fabia. :)

I'll never forget beating the Focus RS and TVR down the quarter mile at Santa Pod. :D

Just scrolled through members cars on tapatalk would loved to have seen it in action! :)

I saw it at my 2nd ever meet which was in essex, i recall we stopped to meet up with some more chaps at a layby, and as we were leaving a blue vRS SE shot off ahead of everyone at a fairly brisk pace :D

Driven as it should be ;)

I do think about trying to buy it back sometimes, like yesterday when Gee picked up VRS SE 89.

Not sure it's worth the ££££ the owner would want for how often I'd use it though now I have the Yeti VRS.

My favourite part was that it looked so sleek and original however I liked the casual rolling up at Santa pod with what I thought was radio 2 whilst the other cars were doing burn outs and just flying past!

what? :D

Is this the fill in the blank round? lol

Lol lemme edit it a sec

I've been in this Fabia, can vouch for its insanity.

Really quick and surprising too. That said, it was black flagged on the day at Blyton because of the smoke all over the track. :-D

You mean, you're not going to pay my expenses!?! ;):D

Sits well! Are there spacers in that pic? You had 17" spiders didn't you?

Yes he did to clear the brembos however he got a bit of vibration between 75 and 80 as the wheels were not balanced with the spacers! :nerd: you can tell I've just spent an evening reading this :giggle:

I assume you are focusing on the Yeti at the moment as it's track season etc and the Fantasy Fabia of 300bhp will come later?

Struggling at the moment mate.

My enemy is time.  It always is.  Sometimes skills too. :D

So many ideas, so little time and skills...

Yeti is going really well and is great fun on track.

Skyline is now where I wanted it too, making over 500bhp and absolutely hilarious to drive.

Citigo will be finished this winter.  Probably faster than the Skyline.

Roomster due to be delivered in a month.  Not sure what the plan is for that.

Have the 1.8t donor car, have the turbo etc on the way and the LSD for the 1.8t conversion is sitting on my desk.

Big brake kit is floating around somewhere too.

But when do I get time to do it?

I have no idea.

Do I even need to do it?

No idea, there are a few other Fabias with 1.8t on the way or done and can't see me using it much when it is done.

Would just be doing it because it's there.

Still have the WRC kit too.

Well if you're struggling and still game to get it done I'm sure some of the brisky crowd wouldn't mind popping down to see if it could be done, I for one don't mind coming down to do a bit of work however because of qualifications etc wouldn't be till early next year :) if you've not sold the wrc kit by the time my 1.8t conversion is over I'll buy it mind that could be a few years wait at my current timings
