I want to leave it in the Polo and running well at the moment.

When I'm ready it'll go to have the engine taken out and be sorted at the same time.

I don't want to have to take the engine out and put it in a Fabia, only to take it out again to get it turned into a 400bhp 2.0t.

Might as well take it out of the Polo, sort it out and sling it straight into the Fabia. ;)

I'm getting ready.

Currently have both cars required, Wavetrac diff, pistons have arrived and waiting on a few other bits.

Also need to choose the turbo.

So which arrives first, the German FGF or the Red vRS?

Window shopping. :D

Think I've got enough at the moment.

Also eBay and AutoTrader seem a bit sparse of FGFs at the moment.

Can't imagine why...

These things are like Pokemon. Gotta catch em all!!!

I Diddnt realise you were going to make it that powerful! #propersleeper

It's probably been mentioned before but too many pages to go through! Is it going to be a road legal car or just a track muncher?

This thread has invaded its way into my subconscious

Last night I dreamt I saw an electric FGF Estate which had a Pope-mobile style conversion to allow a wheelchair to stand in the back, and I was annoyed because I wasn't quick enough to get a photo to send to BossFox

LOL you've got it bad.... better go to the psychiatrist real quick! Prepare for months and months of intense and wallet emptying conversations.

I noticed that last week was gutted to see no FG bargains :(

Got to be road legal Danny.

It'll look pretty much like it does now, just with a bit more poke.

I may put VRS bumpers and spoiler on so it looks like a FGF VRS but not decided yet.

That may make fitting a bigger intercooler a lot easier.

Track only cars are fun, a few times a year.

But the oppertunity to use them in anger are not enough to make them worthwhile IMO.

No point in a track only car especially as you've already got the track orientated Citigo and R32 and Yeti VRS, scare a few people with it :)

Citigo will be track only and I like having the others as road cars too.

Much better to have something brisk that you can use when the mood takes you.

Rather sensible andWhat I'm slowly drifting towards and by the time I'll have finished the insurance will be cheap ;)

Fixed that for you....

Sad because it's true :giggle:

Small update:

My 02 plate FGF (one owner from new!) has been booked in for November for it's freshen up and VRS bumpers/spoiler.

FGFVRS. :D

You really have cracked up!

I like the idea :)

You won't think I've cracked when it's running over 300bhp (hoping for 400) and a decent amount of torque on a two litre 1.8t.

And overtaking me ;)

I'd put National Trust, Camping Club and 'Slow for Horses' stickers on the rear window to fool people :)
