    No, it's one of your favorites.  MPI, 121k miles from new with a full service history and one owner from new!

    Drives rather nicely, considering the heap of poo under the bonnet. ;)

    what? the DVLA Tax checker says its a 1390cc which is the 16V lump, the 8V is 1397cc.

     

    edit: also in the picture, the engine badge under the "Fabia" badge, appears to have a red bit on it, which denotes 16V :P

     

    I can tell by the pixels!

    It seems you are right.

    I bought it thinking it was an 8v, but I've just lifted the bonnet and it is indeed a 16v.

    Result! :)

    No air-con, but other than that you are correct.

     

    This is a good 1.8t base car.

    Not worried about air-con, but I do like the Comfort spec with it's FG mirrors. :D

    Id say (except for the colour) a very good base car, no need to faff around pulling the A/C out.

    How's the overall condition of the polo? Still run and drive properly? I know the rear wheel is banana shaped!

    Just need a polish, doubt any of them have ever been done!

    I have a spare set of headlights and front fogs should you need them. Happily swap for some plain dark door cards :happy:  ;)
