Looks far better Andrew, can I be cheeky and ask how much?

This is actually how all vRS should have looked like when they left the factory... :@

Hi Andrew,

Can I ask what spacers you used, and where did you get them?

Thanks

And do these springs fit the diesel hatch? I so need them on my car when it arrives. The eibach website for only seems to list the estate

Hatch and combi uses the same springs.

The difference is in the weight of front axel. And if you have multilink rear axel rear

4 diifferent springs, 2 fore multiaxel and 2 without.

Sorry if this item has already been covered,

but are you aware of the correct settings for a rear multi-link? I'd like to lower a bit a 4x4...

TIA,

To lower that much I guess you would be needing coilovers or an Air ride set-up.

No you can do it with springs, just depends who makes them with the most significant drop. H&R will usually offer a choice of spring heights.

There is no TUV-certificate in octavia III ,only on golf

That's probably what happened with the Sportline springs for the O2 then, that and they were not rated for the (just) >1000kg axle weight on the O2.

Shark's O3 is on a set of B14 coilovers and it looks very nice indeed.

Where is what link? I haven't posted a link?

There is probably a picture of it on here posted by shark_90

Has anybody looked at or know of a set of spacers that bolt onto the original hubs, at about 20mm width?

yes mate i did, Im not 100% sure as i just told them what i wanted and they sorted it for me

I'd prefer to go for a set that bolt onto the hubs and retain the use of the original bolts... Do you look at this option?...

Cheers...

I honestly don't know, I dropped the car off at Revolution in Gateshead and asked them to sort it for me ..

About the spacers, I think someone wrote in another post that Andrew's spacers are 15/10mm (back/front). Can anyone confirm this? And these these figures would be per wheel right? When I am googling on Ebay, seems that many figures are listed per axis and not per wheel. If anyone else has some pictures of spacers fitted to their Octy Mk3, please share!

Iv just added 20mm spacers to mine id probably recommend 15mm front and 20mm rear would be spot on.

I got mine from JJC Race & Rally (believed to be a sister company to demon tweeks) i paid £87 for spacers with bolts and then a further £39 for longer locking wheel nuts.

That's a really good price, I found H&R Spacers from German Ebay for €225. You wouldn't have any pictures to share, would you Robfab?

Just going to fit mine today.

With the help of http://www.briskoda.net/forums/user/112211-davehiggins07/, he gave me this info.

Ebay item numbers

200851608296 (they need to be 5x112 pcd & 57.1 centre bore) and

171339372158 (again need to be 5x112 pcd & 57.1 centre bore). Make sure you tell them you need radius bolts if your fitting the OEM wheels.

With these locknuts http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M14X1-5-45MM-RADIUS-LONG-EXTENDED-LOCKING-BOLTS-FIT-VW-PASSAT-SALOON-ESTATE-/170989205677.

When they arrived yesterday they are of good quality and I'll have no qualms fitting them.

Will try and post some photos later.

Thanks. Wow I was looking at those items, and shipping cost to Sweden is over 50 pounds! I'll try to find a local dealer
