Base spec and full options list for FL vRS tdi?

Featured Replies

Hey folks,

Has anyone got a link to the full basic spec for a vRS (tdi FL) and list of all possible options or addons?

Interested to know if things like auto-dimming mirrors, spare wheel etc were standard or options, and I've not managed to find much online - autotrader doesn't help much. Skoda website has moved on to 2013 model which is different.

Cheers in advance :)

Standard off the top of my head:

Cruise

dual climate

jumbo box

4 x electric windows

bolero radio

Maxidot on dsg

tyre pressure indicator

18 inch alloys

options:

Heated seats

sat nav

maxidot on manual

sunroof

parking sensors

leather

bluetooth

spare wheel

The auto dimming interior mirror was paired with auto lights as an option and xenons were another.

MDI was an option too

Thanks guys, awesome info there. Are DRL's standard too? And some list 6 or 8 speaker setups, is it 6 with bolero and 8 with the sat nav/Columbus?

And the jumbo box is the central armrest, yeah? Normally would find the iPod connectors etc in it?

DRLs are standard.

Jumbo box is linked to aircon/heater to control temperature, also contains aux port as standard.

MDI port for ipod etc is an option, found in glove box if fitted.

Nobody has mentioned the pack which gives black alcantara and red stitching - looks much better than std interior.

Also variable boot floor, parking sensors and proper spare wheel. (which i have on mine)

Wrong model I think?

Variable boot floor, side airbags and tow bar prep. were all options. Front parking sensors also an option but I can't remember now whether rears were standard or also an option. Full size spare was an option too.

Sarge.

Thanks all - all great information. Some options there I never knew existed!

So back on the stereo - are 8 speakers an optional upgrade over the standard 6, or have I been misinformed?

Rain sensing wipers? Are these standard?

If you search the web hard enough (say for 2012 Octavia Brochure) you'll probably turn up an old PDF download from a dealer site.

All UK spec vRS FLs have 8 speakers. The bolero was standard (6CD touchscreen), Columbus nav was optional. Blacklines came with the Amundsen + nav unit.

We didnt get the option of the 12 speaker premium sound system here, no great shakes as the 8 speaker system on the FL cars is excellent for a base fit system.

And no rain sensing wipers were not standard. They were part of a light assistant package that came with auto lights and auto dip rear view mirror.

Cheers :)

The brochures I found online didn't cover all options (or so I thought) but I've found another one tonight that seems to go into more detail, so that's good.

checkout the NZ spec mk2 vrs - it has every option under the sun ever available to the vRS model.

12 speaker sound.......electric folding mirrors.......heated + auto-dimming door wing mirror......just to name a few.

Not fair is it... :(

Love the thought of the 12 speaker system. The 8 speaker system I've got in my vrs is exceptional!

You think wrong

You think wrong

I agree!

It seems to have slipped in under the radar for later model cars and totally passed me by!
