Hi I have a 07 skoda superb 1.9 tdi and after I bought it it started to get unstable on the road if I was travelling on an uneven surface the car would feel like it was going out of control. Also there is a wobble in the steering. It's not balancing or shocks because I got both checked and done. Please help!!!! Gemma.

I have just changed from a 2007 Superb. I did not experience any of the symptoms you describe. Are you aware of the cars history? Has it been involved in an accident that may have affected the geometry of the steering.

If you have had the shocks done it could be steering joints that are worn. Could also be wheel barings.

My advice is to have it checked out by a Skoda specialist.

The 2007 Skoda is a solidly built car and should not behave in such a way.

Hi Gemma, Good to see yet another Irish voice on here, where are you? Get the front suspension checked out, very common on MK 1's to have problems especially if poor quality components were previously fitted to the complex front end. . Any good independent will be familiar with what's involved. but ensure its set up correctly..  Its not wheel bearings.
