Fabia 1.4 classic alarm and locking

Featured Replies

Hi I just brought a skoda fabia 1.4 classic 8v 2000, I have already finished work on it such as the seals on the doors the rear, hole in the exhuast and the rear washer jet problem which was a nightmare haha, now I just have few question

1, dose this model have central locking because i have to lock each door individually?

2, what are the 2 black sensor things on the front windscreen and should they be flashing or anything?

3, i have a light inside which I think is for the alarm but it dose not flash or nothing even when I lock the door.

4, I have a boot release button above the licence plate but it doesn't work

Mine's a Classic and it has central locking but I think it depends on what optional extras were ordered with the car when it was new. Yours might not have it.

Have you got locking buttons on the driver's door like this?...

No I don't even have electric windows, so if I don't have central locking dose that mean my alarm won't work either because I have the light on the bit there the radio is but it never comes on

I don't know, sorry. My car doesn't have an alarm, just an immobiliser.
