Dirty Citigos

Featured Replies

Just a thought....

How dirty is your Citigo???

Mine looks like it has gone round a rally course. I know the back end is a dirt trap but I have mud up the sides and on the windscreen (where the wipers don't get)

I'll post pics tomoz providing the rain doesnt wash it and I can post pics from a mobile.

Anyone else care to share any pics???

My Mii only has 200 miles on it so far and being white it is really filthy with the weather we've had . Luckily for me my brother is a detailer and has said he'll do a number on it if he isn't too busy tomorrow.

I washed mine today - it was filthy but it is white so I guess that doesn't help.  In a month I've washed it three times which is good for me!  I saw the sun and grabbed a bucket.

I called my car my 'baby' when I got it but oh, how true that is as I am constantly having to clean it's backside.  I have never owned a car that gets such a dirty bum so quickly!  I even have mudflaps but it seems to make no difference.

Mine was black recently but I dived out between showers and washed it so it's pretty clean at the moment.

Mine needs a wash especially seen as some kind sole decided to scratch it so had to try and polish it out.

Not a happy bunny :-(

Some *******,  er, person decided to key mine down the drivers door and towards the back. How much would this cost to fix do you think ? Skoda quoted me £400 ?????????

If anyone knows any good cheap scratch removers give me a shout please. I'm in Manchester.

Have you tried t-cut?

Dont know if it will work but iv used it on some old cars iv had just not on new cars.

Hope it comes out and wont need repaired at a garage.

I dont know what people get out of it

This is when we know we don't get a 'proper' winter in the UK. That look so much fun!

Mine is relatively clean, for the weather just now. Few splats of brown muck on the back of the boot, but other than that fairly white. Only because the body shop gave it a clean today before I picked it up.

Silver never seems to get dirty.

Mine could be grey......It should be white.

To be honest was going to wash it but everytime I do I find a new scuff or dent, some things are best hidden!!

My Elegance, silver leaf, gets very wet/dirty sills. The old Amica was not as bad, is it because the Citigo has seals only at the inner side of the sills?

Don't have that problem on mine.

Picked mine up Wed. White . SE. Took it back today to dealership for free wash once a month . Lol

Your dealer washes your car once a month?

Yep. Once a month on a Saturday to give all owners a chance. 1St wash after only 2 days ownership from brand new lol

Wow, I highly doubt mine would do that. Interesting. Mind you, I hand wash mine myself, anyway, 'cause I enjoy it. :)

Do the rear mudflaps help?

I'd say all cars tends to collect dirt for the back. There must be some kind of vacuum behind the car when it's moving. Hatchback just looks more awful, because rear window gets dirty too.

Seems to me the flatter the back window, the quicker the dirt collects.
