Any firm takers?  I have just confirmed my intention to take part, and I've been told the event has gone public on pistonheads (Spotted in trackday section) so might not be many more spots left soon.

Hopefully there'll be at least "one Skoda buddy" there for the day, even if they're not necessarily in a Skoda :D

I still haven't got around to looking at the Octy yet to see whats broken

Looks like payment deadline extended to 16th March - but might be pushed a little further.  Mine's all working again (thankfully no driveshaft issues) so I am happy to book on.

Are you booked up Jason.

Are you booked up Jason.

I am, but not paid up - that will be done next week by the sounds of it. :)

I can pass on the details when I am up with you on Friday to book on?

Cool See you Friday.

Cool See you Friday.

Apparently 6 spots left and from what I can roughly deduce, there's only about 40 spots in total for the whole day!

Hi Jason. Just spoken to Olly and we're both potentially interested in this. I wouldn't want to do it in the vRS but have a Clio 182 now, and I'm desperate to track that.

Im assuming that it would be fair game to share the costs (£160 for driver + £10 for passenger = £85 each) and therefore share the driving??

My main concern would be wear and tear on the car. Its 10 years old but totally mint. I appreciate tyres and brakes + other components will take a hammering, but I haven't done much more that the 15 min Combe sessions previously. How do you find your car holds out?

Thanks, Nick.

Mate of mine went to oulton park with his clio 182 totally standard went out on 15 min sessions 15 min cool down, car performed faultlessly all day.

That's reassuring to know, it's a cracking little car. Well, if I can split the costs and driving with Olly, it sounds very promising.

Jason - could you confirm that there is still a space? I am interested and would book on if there is still room

Doubt I'll have a car at all by then, although I'd like to

learn more about performance Volvos.

What's the deal if you just want to spectate?

Maybe I'll just join their forum instead,

You can normally just rock up to open track days at Combe,I've done it a few times when I've needed bits from the motor store in a hurry!

I've just popped down and there's been a track day on ;-)

Well, it looks like this day has been capped at 30 cars only for a full day.  Entries now closed subject to people pulling out maybe, and similar.

Should be great with so few cars for a whole day.

Look who is 28 and 30!  :D

28. devonutopia

29. (someone else)

30. Peter (devonutopia's friend)

Should be a nice quiet track for us.

Let me know if you hear of anyone dropping out

I hope the new hose clips work.
