Electric window issue

Featured Replies

I have an issue with my front right electric window: it works (goes up and goes down) only a few times then it stops responding to commands; after I unplug the cable that enters the motor, wait a few minutes then plug in, it starts to work again. I've replaced the (presumed faulty) motor with another (second hand) motor but the problem persists. What can I do?

I've checked the fuses, the buttons and the cables.

Have you replaced the switch?

also is this with regards to a Fabia or to an Octavia III as your info says?

The model is Fabia II (as the forum category). The issue persists from both drivers button and the right button, so from two different switches.
