possible head gasket issues? 2001 skoda fabia 1.4

Featured Replies

Hi guys I just happened to check my oil filler cap today and there was a lot of creamy gunk on it and around it, it has been losing coolant a little bit lately but I've just been topping it up with water instead of coolant because I simply havent had the time to go buy some. I can't see any oil in the coolant and there isnt any gunk on the dipstick. Could it be condensation? what else can I do to make sure.

Thanks

It's condensation, not head gasket, you have a slight coolant leak, probably from the radiator.

Do you often do short journeys? If so it is probably condensation!
