Hello to all Citigo owners,

This is the greatest Citigo forum which could ever found on the web. Here are amazing subjects and solutions and I can find almost everything about the Citigo. I’m following this forum since 1 year, but I’m a new member and this is my first post. Moreover, I’m from Turkey and sorry for my bad English.

 

Now here is my question.

I like the Citigo decals and my goal is to make this stripes by my own. Because of the high prices of the original decals here in Turkey, I have planned to make this stripes myself. For this, I need the measures of the original decals (5 door). I hope that you can share with me the measures.

My plan is: Through the measures, I will prepare the drafts on the Computer (photoshop). I will provide a few meters of original 3M stripes. Thereafter, I will cut the stripes via a PLOTTER (like printing on paper). I mean the plotter will cut the decals according the drafts.

 

I know that I can also cut the stripes without giving effort on PC and PLOTTER, by cutting with scissor or utility knife. But I want also share this drafts in this forum, so all citigo owners can cut the decals easily using a plotter. I can also prepare the decals for 3 door versions.

 

Your urgent reply will be highly appreciated.

No one has citigo decal stripes? I can use also the 3dr measurements.

Please just send width measures. Length is easy to determine.

I would be glad if anyone can inform me about the measures of a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, and i.

Sorry Chipsy but I have an Elegance not a Sport so can't help there.  Come to think of it, I'm not sure that I've even seen a Sport in the flesh apart from one time at the dealership.  I'm certain that one of the very helpful Sport owners will soon nip out with a tape and take your required measurements soon.

I've only ever seen one other sport in the flesh and my local dealer sold that (the only one they sold), but apparently the sports sold really well.

Unfortunately I sold my Elegance with the stripes so am unable to help.

Firstly, congratulations on this amazing forum. I am currently awaiting delivery of my new silver citigo. Hopefully I will be delivered by mid January. I have ordered the 5 door version of the citigo (named lounge here in Greece). I really wanted to add the sport stripes to the citigo but unfortunately the dealership in Greece does not offer that option for the 5 door version. I was really impressed with the pictures of the red/black/white stripes but thatis not currently available in Greece. Do you guys think that this will be a good stripe color combination on a silver citigo? It would be interesting to see if any other citigo owners have stripe/car color combination.

Silver Citigo would look nice with the black stripes.

I'm sure your dealership, or a vinyl/tinting/garage workshop would fit them fairly cheaply for you if you're not comfortable doing it yourself!

Thank you very much for your reply. There is this printing workshop which manufactures vinyl decals. Apparently this workshop is highly recommended by the skoda dealer since it produces vinyl stickers for the dealership. I will be paying the workshop a visit to ask how much it would cost to manufacture the stripes. If it is expensive, then I will stick to black stripes. Whatever the stripe color, I will be definitely posting pictures of the end result.

After a long time (I have been very slack) I managed to get the stripes installed and to upload them. I didn't go for the sport version but for the Monte Carlo edition. This is the finished result (the picture is a bit bad). Hope you like it
