I need some support to keep me going through the dark days of this long wait (14 weeks in, estimated 10 to go). So would all lucky current owners please remind me why I'm waiting my completing this sentence.

...it's a genuine car that does everything incredibly well without being pretentious.

,.....it's lighter, cheaper, quicker, better screwed together and has more space than much larger more powerful cars, put simply,.....it's the best car I've ever owned as it does everything so well.

I drive one (or will once it arrives).

... it's run in now so I can start to play.

It is much better, cheaper to run and much more fun than the fl vRS it replaces

Because it's simply an awesome car. I mean look at it...

 

It's big, fast, powerful, great looking, loads of space, and I still get 50mpg 

I've unplugged the sound generator and now it's even more refined.

....because it's a C250 AMG Sport Plus, hang in there....

.... because its a Golf GTD/I with miles better looks, an extra 5K in your pocket and tons of extra space (especially the estate).

 

and those WHEELS...

Because we are the wise one's. Others will follow but we were the first!

Because it only exists in my mind for now, and I've convinced myself its going to be AWESOME in every way (based on a fading recolllection of the test drive and going a bit crazy with the options).

 

If you are waiting and are beginning to lose the faith, plug 'Octavia VRS Sound' into Youtube and listen to a german guy hooning about on an Autobahn. Car pornography honestly...

it's spacious AND

it's very competitively priced AND

it's got plenty of grunt AND

it'll do 55-odd mpg AND

it turns heads amongst an M25 populated by dullard, faceless German saloons by the corporate sheep who no nothing of the joys of the vRS badge coupled with toys and a pricetag which makes the baby models blush.

 

By far the best car I've owned.  I've had a lot of admiring comments, although being green it does get noticed!  I can't wait for the drive home....

... It makes me smile when I drive it & its quick...!!

..it is super smooth and has two real exhaust pipes.

 

....and because I am the only person I know who owns one or knows what it is and what it can do.

Because she makes me smile every time I drive her, whatever the road, whatever the weather ! (Don't envy your wait. 18-weeks for my vRS Diesel hatch was bad enough !)

... when you're less than a week away from collection (I've been waiting since October 16th) the long wait will fade into nothingness and you'll get all excited again.
