Got my pennies back today via Ebay escalation centre, but still no contact from Auto-kit so wont expect a postage refund.

Their prepaid freepost returns label doesnt cover parcels of this weight and size,so i returned with Yodel and got it signed for which really mattered as ebay wasn't going to do anything until i could prove it had been returned,so bear this in mind if your having to return yours proof of postage is not proof of delivery.

Cannot believe i have to wait while June now to buy another set on my wife's account, lol.hopefully we might get good ones coming through then. :giggle:

Probably one of the few who prefers the less designed look of the regular vRS leather; never been much of a fan of the LE seats. Better quality leather no doubt but a bit Pimp My Ride for my tastes.

Nope, too busy for my liking.

Very nice indeed ! just a pity AutoKit international let us and themselves down badly ! Any photos of the rear bench Phil ?

Phil, looks good, nearly as good as a bought one!

I haven't finished yet.  The fronts need a bit more hair drying in some places to get the creases out.

I've done the base of the rears but not the back.... I think the back is going to be the hardest part and I'm haven't summonsed up the energy to attempt it yet!

For £200 they look great and will make the car very tasty come resale time.

Just got my replacement kit, this looks better than the first.

Chap named Tom sorted this one out, turns out they had some girl working there and basically cocked up all the orders, needless to say they had to let her go,so the kits is all there now had to buy the side bolsters but now I have the whole lot.

As far as I'm concerned faith has been restored in auto-kit.

Is there a slight bit of hope with these covers?! When you getting them fitted ASTON (Trev) and how much did you have to pay for the side bolsters? Headrests????

Slightly OT but I guess most of us have seen Superskoda supposedly do OEM RS leather seat covers in various colours. The one picture for each hardly entices you to part with the coin they are asking for them. Has anyone ever seen/got pictures of an interior decked out in their RS covers?

Whats that in the cupholder?

Looking good by the way!

Mobile phone holder.

I don't recall mine having the pointy 'wings' either side of the headrest - but just be I never noticed them. Too dark a nd damp to pop outi.side and check lol

I liked the two tone seats in my race blue Leary petrol - but think these add a much classier look to more sedate, darker dervs

Re Aston Badger, happy you got sorted. The only thing, if they knew the girl had bodged the orders, why have they not contacted buyers to rectify any issue(s) they may have?

Knowing the goods are faulty or substandard, and not doing anything about it leaves them open to prosecution under Saga.

They do have the pointy wings for sure.

I think so,doing it over this weekend, and doing it myself and saving a fortune at the trimmers,I paid 49.95 for the bolsters headrests are part of the kit as per fleabay listing.

What I will say is the large backrest is a bugger to do,took me best part of 4 hours and I know what I'm doing!!!

Fin69,

I have no idea, thats all I was told by Tom,even less when I went up there to take them back!!!,bit of a surprise for them when I turned up with the kit.

How long after your visit to the factory did it take for the 2nd set to turn up? Did they do the side bolsters to order?

24th April I went up to see them, and the second kit came yesterday (Friday),not sure on the bolsters to be honest.

I can confirm it is all leather too, there is no vinyl anywhere in the kit.

If all goes to plan with you and they are a good fit I'll be giving them a ring to see what they can do. If indeed this drip of a girl was the issue then maybe I will give them another chance!
