All i can say guys is if you've got it don't fit it cause my local tannery laughed when i said it was leather today.I thought id show them to see if it was worth messing around trying to get the faulty parts replaced,but obviously not.

Have you opened a dispute yet or are you giving them a chance to rectify? Why would they go to all this trouble to try and scam us? I hope you get this issue sorted because it's bloody cruel hanging a carrot out to Skoda Octavia lovers like this, Y I outta!

Go for a resolution of them sending you out another set. Rather than going completely back to square one.

Shocking workmanship, these must be the ones that miserably failed the quality inspection at Skoda. The company should be shut down as I've never seen so much false advertising!

tell you what this trim looks amazing.ive emailed seat surgeons at York to see if i can get it replicated without the limited edition

must admit it does look fecking nice.

Jesus.. they are shocking! 

Wow! They are very poor.

Having fitted some of mine, and closely inspected the rest, I'm still happy. I don't have any of the issues shown above.

The things I've noted on mine are:

Headrest holes cut in one side of the rear seats but not the other.

Headrest covers missing.

Armrest cover missing.

And the worst... The hole for the rear seatbelt might have a cut which is visible when fitted. If this is the case, I will either get then to replace this part, or more likely get it repaired.

On the whole, I'm still happy. They are definitely leather and it's nice quality.

It looks to me like they've got a mixture of NOS unused sets, seconds and warranty returns and it's hit and miss what you end up with.

I'm out :(

Mine turned up yesterday,just had a good look at them and this is what I've found:-

 

 

1) No head rest covers

2) No rear seat armrest cover

3) No plastic edging on large rear seat backrest,so couldn't fit it if you wanted

4) No under felt stuff on large seat base

5) Looks like passenger seat backrest has been fitted(still got old foam on it)

 

Overall good quality and all leather.

On a plus note, leather seats are absolute dog. I'm eternally grateful for alcantara inserts on my seats. Leather is cold in winter and hot in summer. Sticky leg syndrome is no fun! Send the ******s back!

I don't mean to sound like a D**K but I did say this at the start they looked like knock offs as I could tell from the ebay pictures they didn't look anything like my genuine Limited edition seats. Gutted for everyone who spent out on these and hope you all get your money back.

Cows seem to manage OK all the year round clad in hide. And how many do you see clad in nylon, alcantara or cloth? JMTPW as an owner of 2 Skodas retrimmed in leather by Seat Surgeons.

Looks like LE owners will be the only ones with this interior !
