if anything else is needed could someone please let me know as i dont want to waste my time and money on this project

Mirrors are different on a facelift

they look the same as mine ? whats different do you know if it can be done cheers

It was mentioned in another thread (escapes me at the moment) that the bonnet is the same, just a different grille.

When you mention 'lights', are you including the rear clusters as well as they are different? Don't forget the wheels too.

Can you just change the bumper from a FL to a pre FL?

How will I find all this out I will uploads pics of it all once starting the work I will then be geting the car wrapped white so wil get as many pics as possible

Take your time...donnt forget for the wings holders, DRL ecu etc...

This is not a cheap modification, but at the end it makes you happy with result

P.s. take a look and for the rubber hoses for headlamp washers too, on the FL model they originally are little longer then on the pre-FL.

If yiu donnt cgange them it will be a tight fitment (and from time they csn just pop out from the pump...result is loosing washing liquid...)

Are you getting new parts or used? I've got pre fl Octavia vrs estate in white and I've 18" neptunes that need to go on yet so would love to do a facelift project on mine

Both...new are not cheap...:(

The FL mirrors are bigger

Yes mirrors are bigger, exact same as on Skoda Superb 2 (3T) and on Audi A5.

Big plus for them is their size and viewing area that us much, much better then on a pre-FL model.

Just one thing whay I am missing my pre-FL RS mirrors is in the fact that their glass is blue coded, and those blue look 100% better then anny other.

FL (all RS and non-RS) have glass color sommething like light-brown coded...no blue available:(
