Just seen the weather forecast for next weekend, all I can say is that I wish it had been yesterday instead.

I remember the gazebo from last year, it was raining just as heavy under the gazebo as outside at several points during the last spring action day. That was also quiet windy if I remember.

Hope the weather does change as it would be an interesting day and was looking forward to pushing the car a little, and myself... in the wet I think I'll be taking far more care until I got that bit more comfy with it.

Things I learnt at castle combe today.

1. 98% of all performance car enthusiasts are Welsh

2. Most enthusiasts prioritise a bit of carbon wrap over good dental hygiene. Or teeth.

3. Skin tight Lycra is rarely a good look.

4. There is a lot more pleasure watching a slow car go fast than watching a fast car go fast.

5. Many owners are unable to buy tyres that are the correct size for their wheels.

6. Every conversation overheard around the track will include the word "Yeti"

7. All cars belching smoke are either broken or mk 1 Fabias.

8. 3 raindrops, lightening and cloud on a BBC weather forecast means pack shades and suntan lotion

9. A 5 hour detailing session the weekend before is not sufficient to stop my car looking grubby.

10. My Thermos flask had had it.

11. Despite everything, I might have to get my Yeti dash hydro dipped with a Dangermouse design.
